TealDrop

Help

The questions that come up most, and what to do about them.

How do I use the sticker pack?

Two ways, and you only need the one that matches how you plan.

ON A TABLET: in GoodNotes, open the Stickers tab, tap + to make a collection called TealDrop, then Import a whole folder at a time. They stay in your sticker tray for every notebook. Drag one onto a page and pinch to resize.

IF YOU PRINT: use the print-sheets folder instead. Print on sticker paper at 100% — not “fit to page”, or the sizes come out wrong. Cut along the faint guides. Each sheet repeats the whole set, so one page lasts weeks.

One thing worth knowing: when you scan a page, TealDrop reads your handwriting and deliberately ignores stickers. A DONE sticker will not tick anything off — put a pen mark in the box for that. Stickers are there to help you see the page at a glance.

My planner downloaded but won't open, or opens blank

Almost always the viewer, not the file.

Phones and browsers preview PDFs with built-in viewers that can't handle form fields. Save the file first, then open it in a real PDF app — Adobe Acrobat Reader is free on every platform.

On iPhone: tap the download, then Share, then Copy to Acrobat.
On Android: open Files, find it in Downloads, tap Open with.

If it still won't open, download it again — a file interrupted partway through will look complete but won't render.

The totals aren't adding up

The math is in the file, but not every viewer runs it.

Apple's Preview and most browser viewers ignore the calculation script. Adobe Acrobat Reader runs it, and it's free.

In a viewer that can't calculate, the total boxes stay editable so you can fill them in by hand — nothing is lost either way.

The boxes look blue or shaded in GoodNotes

That's GoodNotes showing you where the form fields are, not a fault in the planner.

Turn it off in GoodNotes under Settings, then Highlight form fields. The boxes stay usable either way — you can write over them with the pen exactly as normal.

How does print-and-scan actually work?

Print the planner, fill it in by hand, then open the planner in TealDrop and use Scan.

Photograph the page flat and in good light, with the whole sheet in frame. TealDrop reads what you wrote and fills the matching entry, so your streak and consistency map stay accurate without retyping anything.

You can check and correct anything it read before it saves.

I logged something with no signal — is it lost?

No. It's held on your device and sent as soon as you reconnect.

The editor says "Saved on this device" and a small banner shows how many entries are waiting. Reopening the app while online sends them.

One thing to know: TealDrop can be opened offline, but it can't show entries it has never loaded. Anything you write is safe; older entries may not appear until you're back online.

My redeem code isn't working

Check for a mistyped letter first — codes never contain the letter O or the digit 0 together, so if one looks ambiguous try the other.

Each code works once. If yours was already redeemed on another account, or you bought from a shop and never received one, email support@tealdrop.app with your order number and we'll sort it.

I can't sign in / forgot my password

Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. The email arrives within a few minutes — check spam, as first-time messages often land there.

If you signed up with Google or Apple, use that button instead of a password; there isn't one on the account.

How do I cancel, or get a refund?

Settings, then Subscription, then Manage subscription takes you to the billing portal where you can cancel in a couple of taps. Access continues to the end of the period you've paid for.

Canceling does not delete anything you've logged. Your entries stay, and your planners stay downloadable.

Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
